WARDOGS Map & Objectives Guides Hub

WARDOGS map and objectives guides: the three launch maps, the 2x2km Control Zone, tower capture and the 4-digit codes, and Hot Zone timing for double score.

Last updated

Every WARDOGS match is a fight over geography. Three factions contest a randomized 2x2km Control Zone carved out of one of three larger maps, towers inside the zone hide a 4-digit code that can drag the scoring Hot Zone across the battlefield, and the first faction to 100 points wins. This hub collects the wiki's map and objective coverage.

The three pages in this section

  • WARDOGS maps: Bakurani, Ozeti and Zestafona — what is confirmed about the launch map pool and how the rotating Control Zone works.
  • Towers and tower codes: capture flow, the 4-digit code, the drill, and the fuel mechanic that keeps it running.
  • The Hot Zone: the moving double-score circle and when to anchor it with a cheap loadout.

How a match flows, in three phases

Early game is a numbers race: bodies inside the Control Zone tick points for the holding faction. Mid game, factions build FOBs near towers and fight for capture cooldowns. Late game, the faction that completes the tower code activates the drill and pulls the Hot Zone onto its guns — usually deciding the match. Community tier-list debates aside, most games are lost in the objective phase, not the gunfight phase.

Verified facts versus community estimates

The Control Zone size (2x2km), the three-team structure and the 100-point win condition are confirmed by the official Steam page. Tower counts per match (3–5) and Hot Zone movement rates come from community guides and vary between sources — those numbers are flagged on the detail pages where they appear.
