WARDOGS Classes & XP Progression Hub

WARDOGS progression explained: the six class tracks, unlock tables, XP per action and the fastest leveling routes for Season 1. Community-tested.

Last updated

WARDOGS has no locked classes. Instead, six progression tracks — Assault, Medic, Recon, Support, Driver and Pilot — level up based on what you carry and what you do, and your gear defines your role for that life. This hub explains the system and links the detailed pages.

The two pages in this section

  • WARDOGS classes: what each of the six tracks covers, which weapons and actions feed them, and the key unlocks along each line.
  • WARDOGS leveling guide: XP per action (kills, revives, transport, building), Season 1 level requirements, career unlocks and the fastest routes per class.

How the system works, in one paragraph

Your WARDOG level is the sum of your six role levels and gates a shared career ladder that community tables track up to level 150. Weapons credit the class line they belong to — rifles feed Assault, SMGs and healing feed Medic, marksman rifles feed Recon, shotguns/LMGs/launchers/building feed Support, ground vehicles feed Driver and helicopters feed Pilot. Levels and cash reset each season (cash converts to Gold Bars), and Season 1 reworked the XP curve, so mid-season guides may drift from launch-week numbers.

Data honesty

XP-per-action values on this wiki come from community testing collated by Overgear and MetaForge's progression tools — neither BULKHEAD nor Team17 publishes official tables. Values that appear on only one source are marked accordingly on the detail pages, and Season 1's patch notes explicitly rewrote the XP curve, so verify in-game before planning around an exact number.
