FAL — WARDOGS Best Assault Rifle: Damage, Price & Tier Status

The FAL in WARDOGS: 60 damage per round at 650 RPM — the tier-list №1 assault rifle. Price conflict explained ($5,500 vs $6,500) and who should buy it.

Last updated

The FAL tops most WARDOGS weapon tier lists: 60 damage per round at 650 RPM — the hardest-hitting full-auto assault rifle documented in the early-access build. It is the №1 name across the five published tier lists (Destructoid, WardogsHub, SSEGold, Games.gg, Overgear), with one practical caveat: the price.

The damage math: why 60 is the headline

The free rifles kill a 100 HP target in four 28-damage rounds. The FAL needs two — 60 damage per round halves the rounds-on-target for everything short of armored targets. Combined with 650 RPM, that is more damage per trigger-pull at nearly the same cyclic rate as the AK74, which is why every published list puts it at №1 for infantry play.

The price question: $5,500 or $6,500?

  • MetaForge's August 19, 2026 dataset lists the FAL at $5,500.
  • WardogsHub's Season 1 tier list lists $6,500.

The likeliest explanation is a Season 1 price adjustment between the two snapshots. Verify the in-game price before saving for it — and if it has moved again, update your savings plan rather than blaming your memory.

Who should buy the FAL

  1. Mid-progression players — it sits past the T-21 ($600) and AK74 ($1,600) stops, at the top of the assault line before the M4-style specialist purchases.
  2. Tower and Hold-zone fighters — 60-damage rounds punish the dense pushes that tower play creates (see the towers guide).
  3. Not snipers — the Recon line (SKS → SV98 → AMR 50) serves long-range players better; the FAL is a mid-range brawler.

August 2026 build data

Damage and RPM figures come from MetaForge's August 19, 2026 pre-EA dataset. Season 1 rebalancing may have adjusted values; the price conflict above is unresolved between sources.
